Dance Works Studio was founded by Jeana James. Dance Works has been in Centerfield for twenty-three years. Jeana has taught a lot of students through out her lifetime of dancing. This past spring she had over two hundred students enrolled into dance. Jeana recently sold her dance studio Mekesha Wanner. Mekesha had been dancing since she was old enough to start dancing. This year Mekesha has doesn't have nearly the amount that Jeana did, but through time she will have as many as Jeana. Mekesha offers many kinds of dancing such as; Jazz, Clogging, Ballroom, Ballet, Hip Hop, Adult Jazz, and Adult Clogging. One of her favorites to teach is Jazz. She likes to see her jazz students grow into beautiful dancers through the years.

Mekesha teaching her Mini Jazz class how to stretch.

Learning all the postions is very important for learning how to do a piroutte.

Through the years your students grow up and advance to the next class.

When you advance to tiny, mini, jr., sr., you finally get to be in Jr. Performance Jazz. You start to train and condition like the performance teams does.

When your in Jr. Performance Jazz your kicks aren't very high. Buy the time you advance to Performance Jazz kicks will be higher by practice.

After having two kids Mekesha can still make her kicks high.

Through the years your leaps, kicks, and pirouttes, will be better and stronger.
